2nd Outing

This is a video clip of "Gone Postal's" second outing to a dragstrip. This film was taken at Bremerton Raceway, Friday April 30th, 2004. If you turn up the audio you can here the tires squeal in every gear. We broke absolutely nothing! We did have severe steering issues that turned out to be a loose rack and pinion box. The van had a much improved 60 foot time. In Vegas when we exited at 90.66 mph our 60 foot time was 2.809 seconds compared to our new 60 foot of 1.894. This is better than the "Maniac Mazda'" 60 foot time the first time it broke 100 mph at Woodburn in 1998. It turned a 12.379 ET at 109.44 mph with a 1.956 second 60 foot time. I feel we are on the right track. Much more dial in is needed. Our controllers were set to 1800 motor amps. We have 200 more times three motors or a reserve of 600 more amps of torque to throw at it.
